Q 25: Do we create Pollution of any Kind Sound, Air, Water ?
Ans: Sound: This machine makes NO noise at all, expect the water scrubber pump noise
Air: Exhaust from the machine passes thru the 2 stage (Toxic fumes destroy & Water
scrubber) process to avoid any pollutants and toxic fumes get into the air.
Water: We use about 20Ltr of water for scrubbing to avoid air pollutants, this water need to
be changed every 2 weeks
Q 26: What Do we do about the Waste generated by the Solution? can I just throw it in the garbage will it be safe for the environment?
Ans: Garbage from the waste is “ASH”, this has had no caloric value. This can be mixed with concrete in construction, can be used to make tiles, can be mixed with road laying process, in all this process this will create better strength and resistance. The waste can be compared to sand or rock which doesn’t have any caloric value, so the ASH output of the machine is similar to that.
Q 27: If there any pollution is these under the government norms or do we have government certification?
Ans: Any Government has a pollution board and it has defined the norm of Sound, Air & Water allowed pollution levels. Any such machine or product has to go through a government certified(authorized) lab test and those results should be below prescribed norms. Our CleanTeck machine has LAB reports well below prescribed norms.
Q 28: Does this create any harmful rays that can be an injury to human health?
Ans: No, this machine has no harmful rays coming out.
Q 29: Can this machine explode?
Ans: No, this machine is not air-tight, this machine has no compression or burning process
In simple terms this machine never explode.
Q 30: How to charge the machine for the 1st time (new Machine, or if the machine is shut for any reason)?
Ans: Charging is a process in which we induce external power for 2 to 3 days to heat the internal destruction chamber. External power can be from any source like DGset or power-grid or from a Solar power.
Q 31: What is the power required to charge the machine?
Ans: Machine needs about 3KW to 4KW for 1Ton
Q 32: What happens if only fill 200KG waste in a 1-ton machine?
Ans: It will destroy the waste to ash.
Q 33: What happens if the machine is filled with nothing for a few days?
Ans: Machine will maintain heat in the chamber as long as possible, but we always suggest to use the machine once every 2 to 3 days. But we recommend to use the machine regularly to maintain the heat inside the chamber.
Q 34: What is the start-up process of the machine?
Ans: Machine Start-up involves ignition with camphor & dry waste like cardboard (carton boxes), wood scrap, dry garden leaves, newspapers etc.. overall process may go upto 2+ days.
Q 35: What is the time required for the machine to achieve minimum temperature? What is the minimum temperature required.
Ans: Minimum temperature is 200°C, it takes 24 hours to attain minimum temperature of 200°C.
Q 36: Does the machine have to be kept in continuous operations? Does it require to be rested after a certain period?
Ans: Yes, it has to be in continuous operation for best results(anyway it does require any power to operate, it just needs waste), waste can be dumped in batches of 5 to 6 hours, depending on the moisture content of the waste. Once every 2 to 3 months ash need to be removed through semi-automatic ash removal process.
Q 37: Why is the exhaust gases heated at high temperature?
Ans: In normal incineration procedure hazardous waste like plastics, pet bottles, foams etc. are burnt/destroyed at high temp of around 1000°C where all the dioxins and furan contents will be destroyed and possible clean air is let out provided the exhaust is water scrubbed.
Where in CleanTeck destruction happens at 350°C to 500°C and there is a chance of presence of dioxin and furans in the output smoke/gases emitted from the chamber. In order to destroy these contents an auxiliary heater of temp around 1000°C is used to heat up the exhaust gas and clear air is let outside.
Q 38: Is any external power supply required for operating?
Ans: For destruction of garbage no-power or fuel is required. To treat gases, water scrubber pump & blowers we need power. The same power can be used for operating the doors which are semi-automatic.
Q 39: Will the machine stop functioning if the moisture is more than 60%?
Ans: No it won’t stop, but overall efficiency in destruction process will reduce, for example instead of 10 to 12 hours, it may take 12 to 15 hours with more wet waste input.
Q 40: What is the Warranty & Maintenance of the machine?
Ans: Warranty: Machine comes with 1 year of warranty from the date of installation or 13 months from the date of supply.
Post Warranty period: We offer a 1 year AMC post warranty at an additional cost of approximately 10%.
Q 41: What’s the time taken for the 1st time of the machine operation.
Ans: initial stabilisation period of the machine will be 1 to 2 days on the 1st waste dumped in.
Q 42: What is the minimum and maximum height of the chimney?
Ans: Minimum is 6Mtr & Maximum is upto 25 Mtr
Q 43: What is Feed in processing time of waste.
Ans: Feed in process in “Batch Process” in the intervals of 6 to 8 hours depends on the waste.
Q 44: How does the output ash comply with CPCB standards? Justify?
Ans: The flue gas from the CleanTeck machine, comply with the CPCB incinerator emission standards, all the parameters are well below the limits. The emission monitoring study has been conducted by accredited SGS Lab and their report is available on request for ready reference.
Q 45: Its mentioned No flames, No Dioxins and No Toxic fumes but in the emission measurement table it mentions 0.08, clarify?
Ans: There will not be any open flame inside the chamber since it is operating with minimum oxygen. There will be fumes but its not toxic and emission parameters are complying with the CPCB standards. For Dioxin the limit is 0.1ngTEQ/Nm3 but the results we is 0.08ngTEQ/nm3.
Q 46: What are the type of gases developing in the chamber?
Ans: Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Hydrogen Chloride, Nitrogen Oxides and Sulfur dioxide. All this flue gas emissions based on the characteristics of the waste is to be destructed.
Q 47: Any measures for limiting the gases to be within limits?
Ans: Wet Scrubber is being used to remove all the acidic fumes from the flue gas.
Q 48: Water contamination after scrubber and purification as per norms – any constraints?
Ans: Generally we recommend using 20% NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide) absorbing solution in the wet scrubber and based on our experience we need to change the water in the scrubber in fortnight around 20 ltrs. The pH of the outlet water is neutral and complying.
Q 49: How is the scrubber cleaning to be done?
Ans: Once in a month or Bi-Weekly depending on the colour of the water. Existing water in the scrubber has to be let out into sewage or ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and fill fresh water in the water scrubber tank.
Q 50: What is the man power requirement during regular operation?
Ans: Generally 1 person is good enough, incase if needs redundancy you can have 2 manpower.
Q 51: Training & Precautions?
Ans: 1. We provide comprehensive training pre & post installation.
2. Our machines come with the DO’s & Don’ts with user manual.
Q 52: What happens E-Waste?
Ans: Lets understand CleanTeck is designed to destruct & decompose MSW “Mixed Solid Waste” & destruction happens at a temperature of 300 to 450°C. If a E-Waste is put inside the machine it can destruct such part of the E-Waste which can destructed in the above said temperature. In many cases E-Waste it is recyclable so check with local E-Waste recycle departments / authorities to find if your E-Waste can be recycled. We encourage recycle for a better mankind future.
